Hi my friends,
I've been asked many times how I got into the real estate business. I can honestly say that my Mom made me this way. It's my Mom's fault. She wasn't in real estate but she loved to go to open houses when I was little. I'd tag along and look at all the pretty houses in San Antonio, falling in love with the big trees or the beautiful antique furnishings inside. There were 5 kids in the family (3 of them were triplets) so I'm not quite sure if we did this ritual sometimes to just escape the madness. (LOL). One thing became clear to me, I loved knowing about the neighborhood houses and always could remember the prices or the details of the homes for sale. Fast forward 35 years or so, after graduating from UTSA with a Criminal Justice degree and working as an Adult Probation Officer, I found myself on a fast track to numerous moves and relocations. Being married to a Texas Policeman wasn't easy. Beyond the late and crazy hours, I was married to a man who would move 13 times, and 6 cities within a 21 year time span. I became a true "expert" at researching, moving, downsizing, packing, having garage sales and navigating all the purchases and sales of all our homes before I was an actual REALTOR®. I loved it so much that I decided I just had to get licensed and help others navigate their own moves. So at the time we were living in George West, Texas, we sold our last head of cattle (LOL) and that paid for my real estate classes.
My love affair with Real Estate has continued to flourish. I have had the privilege of working with numerous precious clients in the past 9 years. They have become friends, like family members and I only wish there were more hours in my days to spend with each and every one of them, all the time.
I use my passion to help my clients get through this life changing event called "moving". Whether it's selling the old beloved family home, buying a place to start fresh, or finding the right investment property, I make sure my precious clients get the very best service possible.
I sell in San Antonio, Austin and the surrounding areas and am a member of both the San Antonio and Austin Board of Realtors. If you need a REALTOR® in another city, thanks to my many moves, I'm sure to have a friend in the city you need help with.
I am a native Texan and have a thing for boots, bling and big Texas hair. So when you, your family or friends are in need of a REALTOR®, just give me a call/text/email. I'd be most honored to help.
"My boots were made for walking that extra mile for YOU!"
Now ya' know my back story.
